General C. W. Abrams, Department of Defense for Entertaining Troups
in Viet Nam. As a result from this award President Nixon selected
the Greenmen to play for him at the Grand Military Ball held at
the LA Times Building in Los Angeles. |

The
Rock Country Music Awards: In 2003 Johnny Green received a Life
Time Acheivement Award from the Rock
Country Hall of Fame of Fame and
in 2004 Greenmen won an Achievement Award signed by Minnesota's
Governor Tim Pawlenty. Mr. Green will be on the Board of Directors
for the Rock Country Hall of Fame for the 2005 ceremony. |
